Indoor Landscaping Design

This Project was part of the course, Landscaping Design, we were breifed and the objective of the project was to make a better design, where there should be a Skylight in the middle of the Hall, the addition of activities were up to us.

I decided that to create some order within the hall, we had to make separation from different activities, without loosing the feel of openness.

Therefore, I did a Exhibition space where architecture students would be able to present and showcase the final projects while not being distrubed by the constant movement around. In addition to this the Amphitheater next to it allows it for easy and smooth transition in case of a larger scale project showcase.

There was also 2 food and beverage stores placed, one under the staircase that is more of a calm and separated place were students can rest, read, study aimed for alone students or maximum groups of 2 students to share that space and the other one is more of a space for larger groups in a more circulated location.

I used a similar principle when designing the seatings, as plants would be planted to create privacy and seating areas would stem from a pathing, this allows the students to have semi/private conversations and at the same time allows for less sound polution. The approach of this landcsaping design was to give flexibility and choice to the users.
